A horrible family tragedy leads Jacob, 16, to travel along the coast of Wales, where he discovers the ruins of the Miss Peregrine's special children's home. While exploring the ramshackle rooms and corridors, he realizes that the children who lived there (one of whom was his grandfather) were exceptional.
